The Dragon and Heron Railing are a combination of copper and iron, one intermingled with and extending from the other.
There are no welds or solders on the creatures other than the enameled eyes. All parts are riveted.
The railing is a gesture toward Marcel Duchamp's "Nude Descending a Staircase": and emerging as a fabulous creature.
